Celebrity "sin"- LT was charged with 3rd degree rape and 3rd degree patronizing a prostitute, after he ordered a prostitute to his hotel room. He didn't know the girl was 16 years old and that she was a run away. Prosecutors say the 52-year-old Taylor paid a 16-year-old girl for sex at a New York state hotel last May. The Bronx teen, who was a victim of sex trafficking was 16 years when the incident happened. The girl who's name that could not be reveled, was at the prosecution as she testified against LT. The "pimp" who was a ex-con was sentenced to 7 years in prison after forcing the 16-year old to have sex with LT. Cristina Fierro said she was assaulted by Rasheed Davis before he dropped her off at Taylor’s room.

Lawrence Taylor, also known as LT was born in WIlliamsburg Virginia. He started off his football career at the University of North Carolina. He was a Superstar from the start setting defensive records for the university for single season sacks and tackles as a linebacker. He was an all American at UNC. After only two years in college he moved on to play for the New York Giants after being selected in the first round of the 1981 draft. Right from the start he made a huge impact on the field by being selected to 10 pro bowls, multiple defensive player of the year awards and helping the giants win 2 super bowls in 1986 and 1990. He ended his 13 year career with 132.5 sacks, 11 forced fumbles and 9 interceptions. He set a giants record for a 97 yard interception for a touchdown. He was one of the greatest player to come through the league. He was later inducted into the NFL hall a fame in 1999.
Backlash- After the conviction Taylor had to register as a sex offender. This is a title that he'll have to carry for the rest of his life and will affect the way people look at him as a human being for the rest of his life.
Public perception- Since Lt's convictions his public perception among the public has changed drastically. He is known as one of the greatest defensive players in the NFL of all time but people tend to look at him as more of a criminal now. His actions have greatly changed the memory people will always have of him
Repercussions- In Rockland County court, the former NFL linebacker received six years probation and was ordered to register as a sex offender. A hearing to determine the level at which Taylor must register as a sex offender has been set for April 12th. The former star linebacker plead guilty in January to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute.
Aftermath (reintegration back into society?)- Peoples perception on how he was as a NFL player will forever stand, but what he did off the field changed peoples whole opinion on him as a person. LT has gone on some talk shows to talk about what happened including FOX news to talk about the whole situation. If he is caught breaking the law in the next 6 years, then that is a violation against his probation.

Notes/Recent findings (add to this AT LEast every time your group meets)
First Meeting- We went over what the questions were and answering the first two questions helped us understand more about the scandal and really happened.
Second Meeting- During the second session/meeting, we split up the rest of the questions that we had to complete by the end of the weekend. Erik has to do more on the celebrity sin, background, repercussions. Evan has to do Backlash, public perception and aftermath.
Third Meeting- We made an outline of what the IMovie should consist of and each person was given material that they were responsible for. Erik had to do the intro and the alligattions of LT and Evan had to do the interview.
Letter assigned for conclusion- "S" we gave this letter to LT because part of his punishment was to register as a sex offender. This letter along with registering as a sex offender will stick with him for the rest of his life. Both can never be taken away and people are going to see what you did and be able to make their own assumption on what kind of person you really are.
